For Me…KING SIZED !

Having reached 6’4″ at 13 years old, there is only one way for me to go when it comes to beds….KING SIZED…and I have been looking at   a king size platform bed.

It has gotten to that time in our life that we need to replace what we have in our master bedroom.   I had the furniture before 1997 when I moved into the house and that’s a couple of years before the lady of the blog and I got married.

The bed itself has been replaced twice, and I like and dislike the one we have now.   Karen likes it and it doesn’t need to be replaced.

But I find just looking sometimes is fun in and of itself.

New Question

Having been a lifelong wheelchair user there are certain questions that I sometimes get asked when people first meet me.   Why are you in a wheelchair?   How fast does that thing go?   Do you need a license to drive a motorized wheelchair?   You aren’t going to run over my toes are you?   It used to drive me crazy but then I came up with silly replies since most people aren’t that serious when they ask me.   It was sort of an inside joke or way of making them feel more comfortable about my difference.

Nowadays when people find out that I am a blogger and know how to build websites I get a new question asked of me.   What are the ways to make money online?   It’s not a joke with this economy.   Now I have to figure out what to tell them.

It Rained here in Scottsdale

I don’t remember how long it has been since it rained and I mean rained here in Scottsdale.   Not Hail, but rain.   The wet stuff, and not only was it wet, it was cold.   It was the type of day that Karen would have looked so good in a pair of kamik rain boots.

As for me, I would have loved to have been wearing a Yellow Slicker and some Cowboy Boots.   That’s what I wore when riding horseback at Cheely Colorado Camps and at Orme School.   I think back to those days, each year I would go downtown to the Denver Dry Goods and always buy a new yellow slicker and a new pair of boots.

Been there done that.

Growing up Doctors were always telling me I could eat anything I wanted and as much as I wanted and that I would never gain weight.

That was until 1965, then I started to gain weight with almost every thing I ate.   To be honest, other than having to buy new clothes, it didn’t really bother me as a “BIG Person”, I learn very quickly how to live with it…the weight I mean.

Now days, my weight is going down, not really watching it that much, most likely it would be best for me if I would look for a top rated fat burner.

I’m sure if I would get back to the weight I was at 22, before I started gaining, I would feel a whole lot better.

Suspicions

Lately whenever I go into Norm’s office he quickly minimizes his web browser window.   He doesn’t seem to want me to know what he’s searching for on the Internet.   Norm is a rather tame fellow, so it’s probably something to do with video cameras, amateur radio equipment, or term life insurance companies.   I know my birthday is a little more than a month away, so maybe he is looking for the perfect gift for his beloved wife?   Yes, I bet that is what is going on.   You can’t hide much from me.   <wink>

Online Shopping

When I’m looking to purchase things online I usually look for specials or deals where I can save a few bucks. After all, I don’t have that much to spend, so I want to make every dollar count. These days many of us are in the same situation and retailers understand that so there are deals to be had everywhere. For instance, I found these tiger direct coupons today. If I were looking to purchase electronics then these would be a great deal. Today I’m not ready to purchase, but I always look. You never know what you’ll find.
