Playing the Odds

Got a phone call the other day from a machine.   Usually I just hang up but this one was talking about a work from home job for the government.   My curiosity was piqued to say the least.   It sounded really good, work from home, calling people who the government owes refunds to from some sort of loan services, and every claim you process gets you a bonus, etc. The message proceeded to explain what to do if you were interested in pursuing this job.   Just press 2 and they can send you an information packet for just $69.   OK, I don’t have to be an expert on Las Vegas travel to know that the odds are it’s not a legitimate job offer if you have to pay for the information.
