Saturday Observations

When the weather is nice you just want to be outdoors.   Yesterday was one of those days and it was a pleasure to be outside in the warmth of the sun and enjoy the fresh air.   It seemed that most of the week had been overcast and even raining on some days, so it was great to be able to enjoy the weather outside.   Here are some of my observations from my outdoor adventures yesterday:

  • The sun feels really good on my body this time of year.
  • Mockingbirds have quite a few songs and the one that hangs out in my backyard knows every one of them!
  • Hotdogs taste better when you eat them outside.
  • People at the park enjoy ellipticals — everyone’s going in a circle or using circles to get around.   I even went around the park pond which is really just one big circle.
  • Birds like to gather together in flocks and they get really noisy when they do that.   It’s also not safe to hang out under a tree loaded with a flock of birds.
  • Ducks don’t like to get too close to people.
  • Spring is coming – I saw ducks mating in the pond.
