Oh It’s Hot

A heatwave began over the weekend and it’s in the upper 90s even though it’s only April. Not that unusual considering we live in the desert but this year it’s especially annoying because our air conditioner died and we can’t get anyone to come look at it until May 7.

It’s Starting to Get to Me

The last couple of days have been rather gloomy around here weatherwise. Today is worse than yesterday with a thick layer of clouds, no ounce of sunshine, and yet not one drop of rain.

Wind Whipped

Today was our church picnic and it was a beautiful, cool afternoon except for the 20 mile an hour wind gusts.  We had a blast eating hot dogs, hamburgers and an assortment of side dishes.
