Happy New Year

Well it’s finally 2008 and I’m looking forward to this being a very good year. Normally, I don’t like January, but this year I’m going to be different and say that January is a month of new beginnings. But that’s as far as I’m going because I’ve never been one for making New Year’s resolutions like some people do. You know, work on losing weight by wearing that Hoodia patch and exercising like crazy, etc. Honestly, losing weight is not high on my list. Rather, I want to see some major changes in my life this year. I’m not sure I’m ready to share those with you just yet, and maybe that’s because of my fear of New Year’s resolutions. To me they just symbolize failure because I can never seem to keep them past about two weeks into the new year. So, I’m going to keep them to myself for a while. I hope you don’t mind my keeping secrets from you.

I hope all of you have a wonderful year and that you will enjoy my blog even more than last year.

You’re right it is kind of scary to vocalize your resolutions because it is so easy to break them! I will let you know mine later too….
