A Man’s Metal
The other day I was studying the man in my life. The look of his hair, his clothes and his metal. My man does not wear much metal. He wears a gold band on his left ring finger which I gave him almost 9 years ago as a token of my marital covenant. There’s a titanium watch on his left wrist which I gave him some 7 years ago. And that’s it. No chain around his neck or wrist and gladly no ear rings. On our wedding day he did wear cufflinks with the tux, but I have not seen him wear them since.
That man may not wear much metal, but he does have a heart of gold. Best of all, he’s mine.
Hey, I’m darn proud of my earrings – a hoop in each ear! They stay in all the time as the only way to remove them is with pliers. Cool!
What is so neat is that my Gold shines brightest when it’s reflected in you.
Your MAN! Forever!!!
Scott, I could never sleep in my earrings. You’re tough, dude!
Ah, so romantic, Norm.
What a lovely words Norm wrote.
