Rhetorical Questions

Did you ever want to accomplish something so bad it hurt? Did you ever feel passionate about something so much so that you wanted to learn everything you could about it all at once? Did you ever realize that you don’t have enough time to learn everything you want to learn, yet you still want to do it? Did you ever wish that you were 20 again so you could start over? Did you ever wonder if it’s not too late?

Excited yet overwhelmed. That’s how I feel today! (I’m sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I’m going to be another year older this month.)

Upon further reflection: this would be a good time for one of those Star Trek inventions to actually become reality. Remember that original Star Trek episode where an alien culture take Spock’s brain to replace the computer that runs their environment? This alien culture had this device that you put on your head and instantly you can learn years of study in a matter of minutes. Dr. McCoy used the device to learn advanced surgical techniques so he could put Spock’s brain back into his body. I could use one of those devices right now so I could learn years of study in a matter of minutes.
