Unexpected Turn

Yesterday Norm was having a lot of problems physically and I realized he was not going to be in good shape to help with my care.   He’s going to the doctor today with the help of a friend to see what’s causing all the problems.   In the meantime I am in San Diego after a very rushed trip by my father and my sister-in-law’s mother to drive to Scottsdale and pick me up.   We got back to San Diego about 12:30 this morning.   Hard to believe that was 12 hours ago.

During the six-hour drive to San Diego last night we stopped in the middle of the desert to peek at the night sky with no moon.   Oh it was so beautiful.   It was hot, still over 100 °F, but it was sure pretty.   It’s amazing the number of stars you can see even with outdoor lights at the rest stop.   I was able to see the nebula cloud that you can never see in the city.   Awesome!

Not sure how long I’ll be in San Diego, but hopefully Norm will get better soon.
