Dude Where’s My Car?

So Friday night we went out for a date, something we haven’t done for a long time.   On the way home our van started making some weird noises and felt like it wouldn’t quite shift into the gear.   We barely made it into our driveway.   Saturday morning our van was towed to the repair shop.   Yes, it’s the transmission and it won’t be ready till Thursday.   We had no van on Saturday or Sunday because there were no rental vans available due to the big car race and football game on both ends of Phoenix Metro.   Fortunately we were able to get a van yesterday so I’m no longer housebound.   I was getting cabin fever but Norm would’ve been happy to stay home the entire week.   Why do opposites attract?
