Things That Make Me Smile

Receiving letters from Hannah and Mackenzie, my nieces, especially when they write “I love and love and love and love you” and “you are one of my favorite aunts.”

When Miss Ellie, my cat of 13 years, gets into bed with me and positions herself so I can reach the top of her head scratch it. It makes her purr and I love that sound.

When I see old pictures of me and my brother when we were children and one of me and my mother when I was a baby. Aren’t we cute?
