Pine Needles and Other Debris

Some very kind young people from our church came by one day recently and did some cleanup in our front and back yards.  We really appreciate all the hard work they put in to help clean up all the weeds and pine needles.  They must have filled up 20 bags or more.  They used a rake and their hands to scoop up the needles.  I’m sure one of those shindaiwa blowers would’ve also helped with the cleanup chore.  Our pine tree has a bad habit of dropping its needles on a regular basis.  Okay, maybe that’s not really a bad habit, but I’m not able to clean them up, so it’s a bit frustrating.  These kids were really great and it’s so nice to see young people volunteering their time to help those around them.
