International Dialogue

With winter in full swing now snowbirds are coming from everywhere to enjoy the warmer climate of Phoenix Metro.   You can’t go anywhere without seeing license plates from just about every state in the northern parts of the US.   A few weeks ago, before I had the whole hospital experience, we were at out and about doing some shopping.   I don’t remember what store we were in, but we were near the electronics department and I over heard what sounded like a French speaking couple.   Most likely they were French-Canadians.   Anyhow, he was trying to ask someone where he could purchase Caméscopes.   I wasn’t sure what he was talking about, but then later we discovered he was referring to camcorders.   Well, now I know how to say it in French.
