Good Films

My favorite way of resting on the weekends is watching old movies.   This weekend I watched Devotion, a movie about the Brontë sisters, starring Olivia de Havilland   and An Affair to Remember, which starred Deborah Kerr and Cary Grant.   There’s just something relaxing and comforting about watching an old film, especially classics.   Even if I’ve seen them many times before, it’s always good to spend time with an old friend.   I enjoy most anything with Myrna Loy, Deborah Kerr, Olivia de Havilland or Bette Davis.   What great actresses they were and they usually starred in classic, timeless stories.   It doesn’t matter if you have an old TV or one of those brand-new plasma tvs, a classic is still a classic and very much enjoyable.
