Getting Wet
Using a wheelchair full time makes life interesting in trying to figure out how you’re going to do things that most people take for granted. Taking a daily shower is not easy for someone who cannot stand up. Several years ago we put in a roll in shower into our bathroom. It’s nice to be able to take showers! Yesterday I was looking at things online and discovered there are walk in bathtubs. What will they think of next?
My folks have an almost walk-in bathtub that I love to use.
Something like that would be lovely for those bad days when I am a little afraid to shower because of my balance and fatigue.
Lie down baths are a no-no unless they are fairly cool. Ugh. I’d almost rather stink.
