Post Election Thoughts
To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. However, democrats ran as conservatives and that’s why the won. It will be interesting to see if they keep conservative values or revert back to their liberal tendencies.
Len Munsil said it best today on his blog, “no political victory or defeat is ever final. Everything is up for grabs all the time. It is up to us to engage for the things we believe in and for the great principles of our democracy.”
Sorry you are upset about the elections. As you could probably guess, we were pretty excited here.
Regardless of who is in power and who won the elections, change is coming. We can’t just keep going down the same path with Iraq and with our policies.
To say Dems ran as conservatives as a sweeping statement is false… but, it makes everyone in Republican-Talk-Radio-Land feel better about themselves. So I say, “ok.”
