This past week and the last few days especially has been absolutely crazy around Scottsdale. We’ve got the FBR Open in north Scottsdale and the Super Bowl

Still Meeting Men on the Internet

My adventure on the Internet started about 1996. I had one goal — meeting men on the Internet. Oh my! Yes, I was looking for a man and after two years I found my one and only — Norm. Lest you think otherwise, we are very happily married, but I’m still meeting men on the Internet.

Stargazing

Last night Norm and I were privileged to gaze at the stars through a very large telescope in the back yard of some of our friends from church. Dick and Loretta live in Cave Creek, which is about 40 minutes northwest from where we live in Scottsdale.

Happy Birthday to Me

Yes, today was my birthday. I’m officially older. It was a very strange birthday for me. I woke up this morning to my husband singing “happy birthday” in his best imitation of an operatic voice. I don’t think I’ve ever heard Norm sing that way before. (And if he waits another year before he does it again, I won’t be disappointed.)

Birthdays

Another year has past and it’s my birthday again. Wow, time sure goes by faster and faster each year. I thank God for his grace and mercy upon my life. I am blessed to have a loving husband, wonderful parents, a terrific brother and sister-in-love, and the three most adorable neices in the universe, friends all over the world and two sweet and sometimes wacky cats. All add something special to my life. Thank you!

The Path to Hysteria

via Libertas: “Cyrus Nowrasteh, the writer-producer of ABC’s Path to 9/11 miniseries, has an opinion piece today on the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal.”

It’s quite an interesting commentary on the hysteria the created by liberals and how quickly they will resort to “McCarthyism”. Mr. Nowrasteh is not politically conservative nor a Christian, but now he knows how dangerous it is to be connected with those who are. I highly recommend you read it.
