With the Thanksgiving and Christmas season upon us, it bring so many fun ideas to the front. It’s of course the time of year where parties are on tap and the reason to hold one is so easy to come up with. Just to have a get together with one’s friends and of course family members can be planned and pulled off just by saying it’s Turkey Day or it’s Christmas, no one really needs a gold plated invitation. Turkey Day.

I realize that the official Turkey Day was last Thursday, and I celebrated in spirit, but not with a meal of Turkey and all the trimmings. Just didn’t happen that way. But thanks to Linda and Gerry, that changed as of lunch today. I got to feast on real Turkey, cranberry sauce, green beans and onions, sweet potatoes, and stuffing, and a roll. They brought it over last night and I heated it up, all but the cranberry sauce, and I have to tell you it hit the spot. (more…)

Here I go again. It’s kind of fun sitting in for Karen on her blog site. I consider this a move into the BIG Leagues considering the size of readership on my site.
