One of the best reasons for visiting San Diego is getting to spend some time with my nieces, a.k.a. the Spice Girls. I didn’t get to spend as much time with the oldest, Sporty Spice, as I would’ve liked because she’s 11 now and too busy. Fortunately I did get to spend quite a bit of time with the younger two, known on my blog as Posh (8) and Baby Spice (3). One day we did errands together and went to Wienerschnitzel for hotdogs. Later we spent some quality time playing a rousing game of checkers, which I won, and playing with the doll house they keep at my parent’s place. They let me be “the maid” while they were “the Queen” and “Princess” respectively. We had tiny little dolls and a tiny little house which looked like it was filled with discount furniture. I guess being a queen doesn’t pay as well as it used to. Nevertheless it was priceless fun.
