The Big Chill Again

It has been cold here with nighttime temperatures in the 30s.   I don’t like cold weather because it’s hard for me to stay warm.   In the evenings I put on a blanket over my legs and sometimes a shawl around my shoulders.   This is in addition to the central heating we have in the house.   Having a cat or two in my lap also helps to keep me warm.   Lately I’ve been thinking about footwear since my feet are always so cold.   I wonder if sheepskin boots would help me stay warm?

During the night when I’m in bed I usually stay pretty warm.   It helps to have the cats laying on me as well as Norm next to me in bed.   He, on the other hand, complains about being cold at night.   I wake up very toasty and he wakes up very cold.   Go figure.
