Great Arizona Political Reads

It’s been a busy week and I haven’t had time to properly prepare a post on local politics in preparation for next Tuesday. Fortunately fellow bloggers here in the Sonoran Desert are up to the task.

Greg Patterson of Espresso Pundit has some outstanding commentary on the judges on the ballot as well as insightful analysis of who the real bullies are in Arizona politics. The Arizona Republic has labeled JD Hayworth a bully and thus endorsed Harry Mitchell, but Greg clearly points out how Mitchell is the real bully and not JD Hayworth. He points out who the real Arizona bully is with great factual examples of Janet “Soprano” Napolitano’s political machine in Arizona. It’s a must-read!
Vox has some great analysis on the propositions on the ballot. It’s going to take us a good 15 to 20 minutes to fill out our ballots next Tuesday because of 19 propositions waiting for us as well as all the candidates names.

Some other blogs that are new to me have also done their homework on the candidates here in Arizona. Check out Arizona 8th and The Sonoran Alliance for their take on local political issues.
